The Seattle Seahawks jumped to a 10-0 lead on the Dallas Cowboys and never looked back in a convincing 27-7 victory. The Seahawks fell just short last week failing to score a touchdown in the final minute, but this week they were in command of the game from beginging to end.
Marshawn Lynch was in beast mode all day rushing for over 100 yards and scoring a touchdown. Russell Wilson got his first victory in the National Football League by playing safe football. Wilson passed for only 151 yards but did have a touchdown pass and avoided any costly turnover.
The Cowboys started the game with Felix Jones fumbling the opening kickoff and their offense never seemed to get going. Miles Austin had the Cowboys only touchdown. Demarco Murray rushed for less than 50 yards and Tony Romo had only 251 yards passing and was intercepted.
Next week, the Seahawks (1-1) host the Packers on Monday Night Football and the Cowboys (1-1) will host the Buccaneers.
