The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Dallas Cowboys by the slimmest of margins. The Cowboys missed a two-point conversion that would have tied the game with :36 seconds left. Then the Cowboys successfully recovered an onside kick and moved the ball far enough into Ravens territory to attempt a game winning field goal at the gun. Dan Bailey missed the field goal to the left and the Ravens and their fan took a big deep breath.
Ray Rice had two touchdowns for the Ravens and Jacoby Jones scored on a 108 yard kickoff return early in the third quarter.
The Cowboys moved the ball well all day, averaging 5.4 yards a carry and gaining 254 yards rushing on the usually stout Ravens defense. Dez Bryant had 13 catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns but dropped the potential game tying 2-point conversion.
Next week, the Ravens (5-1) will travel to Houston to play the Texans and the Cowboys (2-3) will travel to Carolina to play the Panthers.
