The Jacksonville Jaguars took a 17-6 lead into halftime. The Oakland Raiders erased that lead in the second half and then won the game in overtime with a Sebastian Janikowski field goal.
The loss is one that could sting the Jaguars for several weeks. Jaguars superstar Maurice Jones-Drew was carted off the field with an ankle injury and starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert also left the game with an injury.
Carson Palmer lead the Raiders comeback with 298 yards passing for one touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
Rashad Jennings played well for the Jaguars in the absence of Maurice Jones-Drew. Jennings gained 102 yards from scrimmage and had a rushing touchdown.
In overtime, Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts fumbled and the ball was recovered by Raiders cornerback Joselio Hanson. The Raiders ran only one play in overtime to center the ball and then Janikowski kicked the game winning field goal.
Next week, the Raiders (2-5) will travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs, and the Jaguars (1-5) will travel to Green Bay to play the Packers.
