Free agent WR Terrell Owens’ agent Drew Rosenhaus is indicating that one team is “very interested” in signing Owens, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Rosenhaus refused to mention which team it was, indicating that the situation was very sensitive. Owens held an open workout last month, running various drills and showing that he is fully recovered from his off season knee surgery.
No teams sent scouts to the live workout, but it was covered live on ESPN. With six weeks left in the season, Owens could bring attention and interested to virtually any team, but it is awfully late for anyone to get him plugged into an offense to make any kind of contribution this season.
