LB Kirk Morrison Agrees to Contract Extension with the Bills

The Buffalo Bills today announced that LB Kirk Morrison has agreed to terms on a contract extension with the team. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Morrison saw action in 14 games with Buffalo in 2011 and has started 95 of 110 career games since entering the NFL in 2005. He has totaled 771 tackles (580 solo), 6.0 sacks, seven interceptions and 18 passes defensed.

The 6-2, 245-pound San Diego State product was a third-round (78th overall) draft choice by Oakland in 2005 and was acquired by Jacksonville via trade in 2010 before joining Buffalo as a free agent on August 26, 2011.
