New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz was out with friends at the Juliet Supper Club in Manhattan when a shooting occured.
One man was shot dead and two other people were injured in the incident which police say happened at around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. The shooting was not related to the party.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Wednesday that Cruz was not injured in the shooting. The team is off on Tuesday so there was no curfew.
Forty-three-year-old Artis Arthur was shot twice and killed. Police say a wounded 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman are in stable condition.
