DeMarco Murray May Play Sunday

Despite what the doctors are telling DeMarco Murray, he still believes that he could play in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Murray has had injury problems in his past and was a massive factor in the Cowboy’s offense.“There is a falloff there,” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones acknowledged. “Any time another player comes out and doesn’t come back in, you’re concerned.

We’re obviously playing well with him [Murray].”“Hopefully we can get him healthy. I know he’ll bounce back as quickly as they can,” tight end Jason Witten said. “Injuries happen all the time. Hopefully we can get him healthy.”

Murray is very optimistic about helping his team against the Eagles and plans on doing whatever he can do to be out on the field.“We have to be able to run the football well when DeMarco Murray is not our runner,” Garrett said. “That’s last night, but that’s also in recent history, like you suggested. We just have to put the next guy in there.”

If Murray can not play Joesph Randle and Philip Tanner will share the carries. Murray’s injury is” likely” to sideline him for a week or two.

The Cowboys are running thin on the depth chart with key injuries.
