Denver Broncos rookie linebacker Von Miller has ligament damage in his thumb, according to Vic Lombardi of CBS Sports.
The report indicates that Miller doesn’t have a fracture, and should be fine for this weekend’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Miller has been a key player in the resurgence of the Broncos defense, and been instrumental in keeping the games close, enabling the Broncos “Thundering Herd” read option offense to be effective under Tim Tebow. Miller is tied for third in the NFL in sacks with 10.5 this season.
