The Cincinnati Bengals rode the arm of second year quarterback Andy Dalton to victory over the pesky Browns who got bounce back performances form their two first round picks. The Bengals took an early lead, withstood a charge by the Browns, and then pulled away late to win the game 34-27.
Andy Dalton threw three touchdown passes including a 50 yard bomb to Andrew Hawkins in the fourth quarter to give the Bengals a 14 point lead.
Brandon Weeden passed for 322 yards and two touchdowns and avoided the interceptions that plagued him last week in his debut. Trent Richardson was also fantastic for the Browns in a losing effort. Richardson bounced back from his disappointing debut to rush 109 yards and a touchdown.
Next week, the Bengals (1-1) will travel to Washington to play the Redskins and the Browns (0-2) will host the Bills.
