The Bengals moved to 7-5 and continued their run towards the playoffs by knocking off the Chargers 20-13, while the Chargers continued their season of disappointment sliding to 4-8.
Andy Dalton led the Bengals after they entered the fourth quarter down 10-13. Dalton drove them down and took the ball in himself for a six yard TD run with 4:11 left to put them ahead for good. Dalton finished the game 25 of 39 for 211 yards with 1 TD, 2 INTs, and 1 TD on the ground.
Dalton got a lot of help from the Law Firm, BenJarvus Green Ellis, who led the way on the ground with 25 carries for 118 yards. A.J. Green added 9 catches for 85 yards in the game.
The Bengals defense also held the Chargers to only 46 yards on the ground as Philip Rivers put the ball up 48 times, completing 26 for 280 yards, with no TDs and 1 INT.
