A captain all five years with the team, Cutler is the only player in franchise history with back-to-back 3,000-yard passing seasons (2009-10) and consecutive seasons with 20 or more touchdown passes (2009-10). He holds the Bears single-season mark in attempts (555 in 2009) and completions (336 in 2009) and two of the top three marks in passing yards (second in 2009 with 3,666 and third in 2010 with 3,274). Chicago’s 45 offensive touchdowns in 2013 were fifth most in franchise history and most in the Super Bowl era.
Helping guide the Bears to the NFC Championship game following the 2010 regular season, Cutler is one of just three quarterbacks in NFL history to have at least two touchdown passes and two rushing touchdowns in a playoff game (versus Seattle in the Divisional Playoffs), along with Otto Graham (twice) and Colin Kaepernick. He is one of seven quarterbacks in the Super Bowl era to have four or more total touchdowns in their first playoff start and one of two to have no turnovers in such an instance.
During his NFL career with Denver (2006-08) and Chicago (2009-13), the Vanderbilt product has started all 104 games played, completing 2,020-of-3,310 pass attempts for 23,937 yards, 155 touchdowns and 112 interceptions to compile an 84.6 passer rating and 56-48 record (.538).
