NFL.com is reporting Minnesota Vikings’ running back Adrian Peterson has been cleared of resisting arrest chargers on Tuesday.
Peterson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, has informed Ben Goessling of the St. Paul Pioneer Press that Peterson testified before grand jury today, which found no probable cause for arrest.
Back in July, the running back was arrested and charged with resisting arrest at a Houston nightclub after an early morning incident in which police say it took three officers to subdue him. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
At a court appearance following the incident, Peterson claimed he was “200 percent innocent.”
