Robert Quinn didn’t play college football in 2010, but that didn’t stop him from being picked in the top half of the first round. The St. Louis Rams made the North Carolina defensive end the No. 14 overall pick.
Analysis: Second year in a row the Rams took a guy who lost at least a major chunk of his final college season to injury. They like the way QB Sam Bradford played for them in his rookie season after going No. 1 overall, and they believe they stole one of the draft’s top pass rushers by taking Quinn when others passed on him because of medical concerns.
