Colts Trade Up for More O-Line Help, Take Ijalana

The Indianapolis Colts traded their second-round pick and a fifth-round pick to the Washington Redskins to move up to the 17th pick of the second round (49th pick overall) and select Villanova offensive lineman Ben Ijalana.

Analysis: Clearly, the Colts’ priority is protecting Peyton Manning better than they did in 2010. Ijalana and first-rounder Anthony Castonzo lead an offensive line overhaul in Indy. Washington, still looking for a quarterback, moves back four picks to No. 53.
