Seattle, WA- In the latest news about the Jalen Ramsey situation, the Seattle Seahawks are one of the teams that are in pursuit of trading players to get him. Ramsey is not happy with the Jaguars and he announced last week that he wants to be traded.
The Seahawks are known to be dicey rollers with going after players that are on the trade block or wants to be traded. Just a couple weeks ago, the Seahawks pulled off one of the successful trades of the year with bringing Jadeveon Clowney from the Texans. When asked about the trade situation, head coach Pete Carroll had this comment to say about it. “We’re involved in everything,” Carroll said. “We’ve been telling you that for a long time. We seriously mean we’re trying to know what’s going on with every opportunity to get better, and if we miss one of those we messed up.”
If the Seahawks could bring another big name to their star defense, they could potentially become the favorites to win the NFC and may make it down to Miami for another Superbowl appearance, but right now this is all speculation.
The Seahawks’ defense needs to desperately improve. Going into the third week of the regular season the Seahawks are allowing opponents to score 23 points per game on them. They are ranked 20th in defense in the league, so they may try to take a risk with bringing Ramsey to Seattle.
As of right now, it has been reported that after tonights’ game against the Titans that Ramsey will be playing for another team next week. The Ramsey show will be the show to watch for the next few days.
