Seattle, Wa- After breaking the internet this past weekend with getting Jadeveon Clowney in a trade, the Seahawks” defense looks to be in good shape at the start of the season. Adding Clowney was something that the Seahawks needed and wanted. Clowney can add another dynamic like his quickness, which is very rare at his position. He is instinctive and can change the way offensive coordinators call plays because he will be one of the players that coaches will look to avoid.
Before getting signed Clowney explained to the media on who it was that told him that Seattle will be a great fit for Clowney.“I was just talking to him and I was like, ‘Duane, how you like it up there?’ He called, and I was like, ‘Bro, what do you think?’ He said, ‘You need to come play with us. You would love it here. Great weather, it’s not hot like Houston. Great fan support, other great teammates on this team. Come be part of something great.’ I was like, ‘Man, you know what, I’m going to try to look into that and try to get in there with you guys, ” said Clowney.
The Seahawks have great players like Bobby Wagner, Shaquem Griffin, and K.J. Wright that can make big plays at crucial times of a game. Each of these players are mature and has helped molded their younger players as consistent playmakers on the defensive side.
Coach Pete Carroll has stated that this team could be special with the players that they have acquired and how fast they look on both sides on the ball.
The regular reason is here and the Seahawks will be opening their season home against the Bengals.
