With Kansas City selection of Eric Fisher, it seemed as if the Jaguars would go with highly-touted prospect Luke Joeckel out of Texas A&M. That is exactly what they did.

This is the first Draft in recent memory where there have been consecutive offensive lineman taken at numbers one and two respectively. Jacksonville fans applauded and cheered to hear that they would be providing a lifeline to current-QB Blaine Gabbert.
