NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will address the NFL rookies who are attending the “Business of Football: Rookie Edition” in Sarasota, Florida. Smith and Goodell flew in last night from Minnesota and are each scheduled to speak briefly at the morning session.
Smith invited Goodell to speak at the NFLPA sponsored event. Both parties will return to Minnesota today where they will continue their meetings in hopes of reaching a definitive agreement in time to save the 2011 NFL season.
