In his season-ending press conference, Broncos VP John Elway said that QB Tim Tebow has “earned the right” to enter training camp as the team’s starting QB. “He made some good strides,” Elway added. In 13 starts this season (including the playoffs), Tebow completed an abysmal 46% of his passes for just 7.1 yards per attempt. But he also tossed 14 TDs vs. just 6 INTs — and won 8 of those games. We’d expect the Broncos to bring in some veteran competition, but Tebow is a good bet to open the 2012 season as the starter.
