For the second straight week, the Philadelphia Eagles did everything they could to give the game to their opponent before getting it together and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. The Eagles trailed the Baltimore Ravens by 10 points at halftime and then by 6 points with only four minutes remaining and rallied behind Michael Vick to win the game 24-23.
The Ravens seemed to pick up where they left off on Monday mixing Joe Flacco passes with Ray Rice runs to take the lead on the Eagles. The Eagles picked up where they left off last week turning the ball over seemingly every time they touched it. The Eagles have turned the ball over 9 times in their first two victories.
In the end, Michael Vick scored on a 1 yard scramble to give the Eagles a 1 point lead just after the two minute warning. The Ravens got the ball back with plenty of time to kick a game winning field goal but the Eagles defense stiffened and the Ravens turned the ball over on downs.
Next week, the Eagles (2-0) will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals and the Ravens (1-1) will host the Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
