Nicole Jennings Shares Her ESPY Favorite and Red Carpet Fashion

Nicole JenningsNicole Jennings, the wife of  Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings and mother of four, spoke to Pro Player Insiders about her most memorable moment at the ESPY awards last year:

“I was super excited for Robin Roberts to be receiving the Aurther Ashe award. I think she’s a remarkably strong woman, and a fighter. I look up to her for all her esteemed accomplishments but more than that for her perseverance through her battle with cancer.”

Robin Roberts stole the show at the ESPYs last year, with an emotional speech after winning the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

Roberts, the beloved “Good Morning America” anchor who began her career at ESPN, announced that she’s winning her fight with MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome which she was diagnosed with in 2013 and required a bone marrow transplant. Roberts also survived a bout with breast cancer Six years ago.

“There are many worthy of holding this honor, others who have exhibited far more courage, strength and resilience, and it’s humbling for me to represent you tonight,” Roberts said after being presented with the award by LeBron James. “I draw strength from you. You give me the courage to face down any challenge, to know when fear knocks, to let faith answer the door.”
