Twelve years ago today tragedy struck the United States of America with the attack on the Twin Towers in New York City. We look back and honor those who lost their lives in that horrific act of terrorism and pray for all of those who lost a loved one, friend or colleague. One of those lost as a result of those terrorist acts was Arizona Cardinals Safety Pat Tillman.
Tillman turned down a 3 year multi-million dollar contract offer from the Cardinals and decided to enlist in the Army. Pat who quickly became an elite Ranger shortly after the attacks lost his life defending our nations freedom. Pat Tillman will always be remembered as an unselfish man, who gave up millions of dollars to defend and protect his country. He decided to become, not only a soldier on the gridiron, but also in the battle against terrorism. Pat Tillman will forever be loved within the Birdgang community and also within the Arizona State University family where he attended college.
Pat Tillman ….Played like a warrior , Fought as a Gladiator…..Will forever be remembered as an American Hero !
