Injuries have been playing a huge role this offseason in the 619. San Diego has lost OLB Melvin Ingram, WR Danario Alexander, MLB Jonas Mouton and rookie CB Stevie Williams. Williams had been turning heads during training camp and preseason games. Question is who will take over for Williams? Ian Rapoport reports the team agreed to terms with cornerback Richard Marshall on Friday.
The Miami Dolphins cut Marshall earlier in the week. Thoughts around the league were that San Diego would not let him leave without an offer. Marshall has history with the Bolts new Offensive Coordinator Ken Wisenhunt. San Diego is in need of help in the secondary and Marshall is a playmaker with punt return ability which the Chargers also need.
