Tony Romo leaves with hand injury

Cowboys QB Tony Romo suffered a right (throwing) hand injury after taking a big hit in the 1st quarter of Saturday’s game against the Eagles.  Dallas’ game is now meaningless with the Giants defeating the Jets, so don’t expect to see Romo back in there even if the injury isn’t serious.  We’ll pass along an update when we get one.  QB Stephen McGee has entered the game for the Cowboys.

Update: X-rays on Romo’s hand came back negative.  It’s swollen, though, and he won’t re-enter today’s game.  The good news is that he appears to have a solid chance of playing against the Giants next week.
