Cowboys QB Tony Romo (hand) confirmed that he fully expects to play against the Giants next weekend.
“I’ll be fine,” Romo said. “I think it’s just going to be a few days, do all the stuff [in rehab], but I’ll be good to go next week.”
X-rays on the hand came back negative, although the FOX broadcast showed Romo’s hand incredibly swollen just minutes after he banged it on DE Jason Babin’s helmet. He probably won’t practice much this week, but we’d be shocked if Romo didn’t play in a must-win game next Sunday.
