Panthers OLB Thomas Davis just might have played his last down of NFL football on Sunday. Davis tore his right ACL for the 3rd time in less than 2 years in the loss to Green Bay. His 1st comeback was derailed by a 2nd tear during 2010 training camp. Davis appeared on track this time around, but this latest setback will be tough. It's also a big blow to a Panthers D that lost MLB Jon Beason for the season in Week 1. Omar Gaither is the closest thing to a "name" player among the candidates to replace Davis. For now, MLB Dan Connor gains tackle upside. SLB James Anderson adds IDP value as well. Carolina, on the other hand, only becomes a more favorable matchup for offensive players.
