Monday, January 28th 2019 started off the week of Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta has been preparing for a while to get this show on the road. Monday night fans were able to get a glimpses of their favorite teams and players at the State Farm arena located in downtown Atlanta.
The NFC champion, Los Angeles Rams, started the night out with an hour of taking pictures with fans, signing autographs, and talking to the media. Head coach Sean Mcvay along with 10 of his players were available for media questions The New England patriots were the crowd favorite this year. Fans even created a chant throughout the stadium when the Patriots were out on the floor saying, “beat the Rams!” The camera crew this year did an amazing job finding fans on the jumbo screen, even creating a dance battle between a few of the kids.
Everyone knows that Atlanta is full of musical talent and history. With the sound system blaring, we were able to hear some of Atlanta’s very own artists in the stadium. Music producer/rapper Jermaine Dupree put on a show for locals at Centennial Park which was broadcasted at opening night! Based on the amount of overwhelming support Atlanta is receiving from spectators, this week should be like no other super bowl week.
