Lions Ndamukong Suh called commissioner Roger Goodell on Sunday night to apologize for his behavior during Detroit’s Thanksgiving match against Green Bay according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Suh has been expected to receive a two game suspension for his on the field stomp to the arm of Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith.
The NFL has not finalized what discipline it will impose on Suh but several reporters have suggested that he will be suspended for two games and required to attend anger management courses.
The Lions are expected to issue the maximum $25,000 fine allowable under the new CBA for a player being ejected from a game.
