- New England quarterback TOM BRADY passed for 333 yards and four touchdowns in the Patriots’ 43-21 win against Denver. Brady now has 51,541 career passing yards, surpassing Pro Football Hall of Famer JOHN ELWAY (51,475) for the fifth-most passing yards all-time.
In his 200th career regular-season start, Brady earned his 155th victory, the most of any starting quarterback through his first 200 regular-season starts in NFL annals.
The game was the first in NFL history to feature opposing starting quarterbacks with at least 150 career regular-season wins each.
Patriots tight end ROB GRONKOWSKI had nine catches for 105 yards and one touchdown. He recorded his 50th career touchdown catch in his 59th game, tying RANDY MOSS as the second-fastest players in NFL history to reach 50 career TD receptions. Pro Football Hall of Famer LANCE ALWORTH (54 games) is the only player to reach the milestone in fewer games.
- The ARIZONA CARDINALS beat the Cowboys 28-17 in Dallas, improving to 7-1 for the first time since 1974. The last time Arizona had sole possession of the best record in the NFC this late in the season was Week 11, 1974.
The Cardinals, who ended DE MARCO MURRAY’s record streak of eight consecutive 100-yard rushing games to begin the season, have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 18 consecutive games.
- The MIAMI DOLPHINS beat the San Diego Chargers by a score of 37-0, posting their largest shutout victory since October 11, 1987 (42-0 vs. Kansas City).
Miami quarterback RYAN TANNEHILL passed for 288 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions for a 125.6 passer rating. He also rushed for 47 yards on four carries (11.8 average) with a long run of 22 yards and has a rush of at least 20 yards in each of his past four games. Tannehill joins Pro Football Hall of Famer STEVE YOUNG and MICHAEL VICK as the only quarterbacks with a 20+ yard run in at least four consecutive games in the past 25 years.
- Philadelphia wide receiver JEREMY MACLIN had six catches for 158 yards (26.3 average) and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 31-21 win at Houston.
Maclin, who had 12 catches for 187 yards and two touchdowns in Week 8 against Arizona, is the first player in franchise history with at least 150 receiving yards and multiple touchdown catches in back-to-back games in a single season. He is the first NFL player to accomplish the feat since MILES AUSTIN in 2009.
- Minnesota running back MATT ASIATA rushed for three touchdowns in the Vikings’ 29-26 win against Washington. Asiata now has three career games with three rushing touchdowns, the most of any undrafted player in his first three seasons in the common draft era (since 1967).
- Kansas City wide receiver DWAYNE BOWE had six catches for 55 yards in the Chiefs’ 24-10 win against the New York Jets. Bowe now has 503 career catches, joining tight end TONY GONZALEZ (916) as the only players in franchise history with 500 career receptions.
- Cincinnati rookie running back JEREMY HILL rushed for 154 yards on 24 carries (6.4 average) and two touchdowns in the Bengals’ 33-23 win against Jacksonville. Hill joins COREY DILLON (December 4, 1997 vs. Tennessee) as the only rookies in franchise history with at least 150 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in a game.
