San Francisco, February 2016. Super Bowl L.
Book your tickets, kids.
After a quick vote, Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers new home set to open after next season, beat out Miami’s Sun Life stadium as the host of the historical 50th Super Bowl.
Great decision, as it will give the league the opportunity to set the example for stadiums going forward.
Levi’s Stadium is going to be very indicative of the surrounding Silicon Valley… lots of high tech features combined with a complete environmentally-conscious design. One of the plans for Levi’s Stadium is that it will give fans the opportunity to be ticketless and cashless. Fans will now be able to use their smartphones to control their whole experience at the ballgame.
The stadium will also run on solar power for all of the 49ers home games as well. All green, all day.
Very fitting, as Silicon Valley is where all the technological giants, like Google and Apple reside.
