After sitting out on Wednesday and Thursday, Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (neck) returned to a limited practice on Friday. He's listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision for this weekend's game against the Broncos. Mathews has never played well through injury. And HC Norv Turner hinted that his workload might be limited after being sidelined most of the week. The 4:25 pm ET start time also puts Mathews' fantasy owners in a pickle. If you're planning on starting him, you need to roster a late-game alternative. RBs Ronnie Brown and Jackie Battle figure to split backfield duties for San Diego if Mathews can't go.
