NFL.com’s Gil Brandt believes RB Ryan Grant will emerge from training camp as Green Bay’s starting RB. "Grant had signed a long-term contract and I think he’ll be back and will start once healthy," Brandt writes. "Grant is the guy for now." This will be one of the most important position battles to watch this summer. Grant is recovering from a severe ankle injury but is expected to be back to 100% for camp. He’s an experienced, productive runner but will need to fend off the fresher — and perhaps more talented — James Starks. If a true lead back emerges, he’ll have considerable fantasy upside in Green Bay’s high-scoring attack. But it’ll likely end up being close to a 50-50 split, rendering both Grant and Starks as low-end RB2s.
