The Packers have confirmed that RBs Ryan Grant and James Starks will split touches in Thursday night's opener against the Saints. "They're both going to take pretty much all situations in the game," RBs coach Jerry Fontenot said. "Evenly dispersed? I can't guarantee it. But I'm certainly going try to get each one of those guys an equal amount of opportunities to carry the football." But OC Joe Philbin also admitted that he won't be afraid to ride one guy if he's rolling. "There's a place and time for riding the hot hand if that develops," Philbin said. "If they have a hard time tackling one guy, we may stick with one and not worry about it." Until this situation sorts itself out, Grant and Starks are both just RB3 or flex plays.
