There are many rappers and musicians that reign from the royal city of Baltimore. Like the world champion Ravens, DMX, Kswift and huge Ravens supporter King Los.
King Los recently made a theme song capturing the Ravens rise to becoming the Super Bowl Champs. King Los “Carlos Coleman” is a Liberty Heights native who stepped into the music scene later then most. Before rapping King Los was a student athlete and basketball was his primary passion, which later he left behind after the murder of his father who was a basketball coach at the high school he was later transferring too.
During these turns of events Los found himself at a new school that led him towards his new love for music; he found it during lunch, where other students would be free styling and having rap battles. In 2001 he signed with a local Baltimore Label “Da Bloc Inc.”, and by 2002 King Los was ready to test his skills and audition for Sean “Diddy” Combs Making The Band Reality show for MTV.
King Los did make it through the end and became one of the 6 members of the band but because he didn’t sign the MTV release forms he was replaced, but that didn’t stop him and that wouldn’t be the last time he crossed paths with the hip-hop mogul either. In 2005 he got the opportunity to audition for Diddy again but this time as a solo artist and in 2006 that wish was granted and he became an official Bad Boy artist.

Lyrics
Recently inspired by the city I’m from,
and all of that we’ve been through,
just makes me realize that
there’s nothing that can’t stop us from being champions,
I dedicate this song to Ray Lewis
..and my whole city.
Hook:
Came from the bottom, right to be a champ
did it on our own nobody gave us a chance
no matter the eyes keep god in the circle,
now every time it ran we turn the whole world purple, baby
Purple reign, purple reign
Purple reign, purple reign
Purple reign, purple reign
Purple reign, purple reign
In my city we go super super hard, we go super hard,
we go super super hard.
Not only does the story behind the Ravens Super Bowl win unite the City of Baltimore , but when you have emerging artist like King Los who supports his City and hometown team through positive lyrics it’s always good business because these two separate entities had a mission that they have accomplished , good game skills and great music swag welcome to Baltimore.
