ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Lions trade of RB Jerome Harrison for Eagles RB Ronnie Brown has been voided after Harrison failed his physical with a previously undisclosed health issue.
The Lions were looking to add Brown as a backup for RB Jahvid Best, who suffered a concussion in the Lions loss to San Francisco, and so might be out for a while.
Detroit had traded Harrison and a seventh-round pick to Philly for Brown which was a moved designed to add a running back that can run in between the tackles, and run in place of Best until he returns.
