The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that even Rams rookie DE Robert Quinn was surprised by his Week 1 deactivation. The team apparently made him a healthy scratch because of concern that he wouldn't keep edge containment when rushing Michael Vick. If true, that reasoning looks funny after the Philly QB racked up 100 rushing yards (minus 2 on game-ending kneel-downs). Quinn will be active in Week 2 after backup DE C.J. Ah You suffered a wrist injury in the opener. We'll see how often the 1st-rounder can get on the field against the Giants. Quinn showed distinct pass-rush upside in preseason and saw regular 1st-team action.
