Quarterbacks Once Again Dominate 1 & 2

Chicago, Illinois

The NFL quarterback thirst continues unabated as the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles both selected quarterbacks with picks #1 and 2 of the 2016 NFL Draft. California quarterback Jared Goff  was selected number one overall while North Dakota State University Carson Wentz was selected number two overall.

Just as in 2015,when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took Jameis Winston #1 and the Tennessee Titans took Marcus Mariota #2, two teams with glaring need at the position took a chance on the promise of a franchise quarterback. With so many teams needing help at the position, it is hardly surprising both teams traded up to make the moves.
