The New York Daily News’ Gary Myers hears that the Eagles are interested in pursuing free-agent WR Plaxico Burress after he’s released from prison on June 6. It makes sense considering Philly gambled on QB Michael Vick. Plus, Burress would give them a big red zone target to complement DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. For what it’s worth, Myers also lists the Steelers, Ravens, Chargers, and Falcons as teams that could be interested in Plax.
