Contrary to a previous story, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that there are currently no plans for a 2nd neck surgery for Colts QB Peyton Manning. He will, however, be re-evaluated by specialists to determine why his recovery is taking so long. So while no surgery is planned for now, it sounds like it could be a possibility down the line. As Mortensen says, "barring a miracle," Manning won't be ready for Week 1. The bigger issue is not if he'll be ready for the season opener, but how many games he'll miss. We're trimming his projections, and the projections for all of the Colts' pass-catchers.
