The Chargers have signed K Nick Novak. He'll replace K Nate Kaeding, who is done for the year with a torn ACL. Novak last appeared in the NFL in 2008 with Kansas City, where he connected on just 6 of 10 FG attempts. His career FG conversion rate stands at an ugly 63%. He'll get plenty of scoring chances thanks to San Diego's high-scoring offense, but the poor accuracy makes him a risky fantasy bet. Ex-Kaeding owners are better off going with a guy like Jason Hanson or Nick Folk.
