NFLPA to Launch NFLPA Shop Online Store

WASHINGTON—The NFL Players Association on Wednesday morning officially will launch NFLPA Shop, a new online merchandise store featuring authentic products of more than 1,800 NFL players.

Accessible at http://Shop.NFLPA.com, the e-commerce site will be the first retailer to give fans the choice to own on-demand licensed apparel of every NFL player. NFLPA shop seeks to be a key destination in the marketplace for rabid NFL fans, who can purchase officially-licensed player products including jerseys, collectibles, exclusive player apparel and autographed memorabilia. The site also will feature new Nike player jerseys, allowing fans to wear what their favorite players wear on game days.

A Twitter giveaway will take place Wednesday at 11 a.m. EST. Fans can follow the @NFLPAShop Twitter account to learn more about their chance to win three $100 gift cards redeemable at NFLPA Shop.

Three star players have been secured as player ambassadors for NFLPA Shop: Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith.

“NFLPA Shop gives fans an actual choice to own official gear of any NFL player,” Jones-Drew said. “I’m excited that this site gives my fans easier access to my autographed memorabilia.”

In addition to providing licensed apparel of every NFL player for fans to purchase, the new venture represents an added revenue stream for the individual players. Stars of the league, as well as middle-of-the-road names that might not make the marquee, should see increased financial windfalls alike.

According to the site, “The shop carries items for every member of the NFLPA and is constantly updated with new products. Be sure to check out our NFLPA exclusive gear which brings a truly unique style and feel to all player products.”

The site is located at http://Shop.NFLPA.com and fans can follow @NFLPAShop on Twitter for announcements, updates and more.
