Celebrities and NFL players have been spotted all over the city of Indianapolis during Super Bowl XLVI Week, however Friday night’s NFLPA Players Party was the event where all of the stars congregated. The party, an event sponsored by Harley – Davidson, Ciroc Vodka, and Nike, was an invitation- only affair for active and former NFL’ers, and Hollywood icons to celebrate the 46th Super Bowl in style.
Those in attendance included J. Cole, Jermaine Dupri, Maurice Jones-Drew (Jaguars), Charles Haley (Hall of Fame finalist), Takeo Spikes (Chargers), Priest Holmes (formerly Chiefs), and Matt Forte (Bears), to name a few. DeMaurice Smith, George Atallah, Charlie Batch, and Kevin Smith.
Power couple, Dawn and Ryan Neufeld was spotted on last night’s Red Carpet. The Neufelds, who are very passionate about servicing the community, spoke about one of their charity involvements.
“We work with Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids Foundation. [The foundation has] donated millions of dollars to children’s charities in the areas of education, inner -city schools, and health. It’s a really wonderful foundation that incorporates athletes. We’ve been a part of it for 7 or 8 years. It’s a wonderful foundation. They even have an event here tomorrow where they put on a camp. It’s really, really awesome,” said the Neufelds.
When it comes to Super Bowl XLVI, the 8- year NFL veteran and the reality- TV starlet are divided. Dawn plans to cheer the Patriots on to victory, while Ryan hopes to see the Giants win.
“I’m going to say the Giants. There were three coaches on the staff that I played with in the past. I’m rooting for the Giants,” Ryan says.
“I think its going to be a good game. I think if Brady can stay healthy, the Patriots win,” counters Dawn.
Detroit Lions defensive end, Cliff Avril was also joined Pro Player Insiders on the Red Carpet. Avril says he’d rather root for his friends rather than choose a team.
“I don’t have a team, I just want a good game. I want some of the players I played with in college to be successful…[I know] Rob Ninkovich from the Patriots, I’m really good friends with Mark Anderson from the Patriots. Hopefully those guys go out there and get themselves a couple of sacks,” he says.
