In fact, it has its own name called “MARCH MADNESS.” The NCAA college basketball takes center stage with their conference tournaments all jockeying for position and seeding for a chance to be in the NCAA Championship tournament. Over the years, this tournament has generated so much “outside” interest because of the famous “Tournament bracket pools” to where even a person who has little interest in sports gets involved. NFL players who bleed their alma maters also get heavily involved in the NCAA tournament rooting for their schools to win their conference tournaments to guarantee their ticket to the place where “Cinderella’s of Sports” have shined, The BIG DANCE.
