VIDEO Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan did a pretty harsh impression of Eli Manning while discussing how to work with rookie quarterbacks on ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning,
Strahan played his entire career with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007, and was a teammate of Manning for four years, starting in 2004 when Manning was drafted.
The discussion centered on how to deal with young quarterbacks, and after a brief and highly unflattering impression of Manning, he commented, “I never felt like I wanted to put pressure on [Manning] so I would give everyone else ‘yeah, let’s get this done’ and I’d look at Eli and I’d just smile and say ‘let’s have some fun, man.’”
“I wanted him to be relaxed because I don’t know what’s going on in Eli’s head sometimes.”
