In Phoenix, Arizona, November brings cooler temperatures to the Valley of the Sun and the Cardinals playoff chase is upon us. The Cardinals are at 7-4, on a four game winning streak, and own the sixth seed in the NFC. #93 has been a undeniable presence recording 32 tackles and 5.5 sacks in the Cardinals push for the playoffs.
Off the field, DE Calais Campbell has also been increasing his time lending a hand to those in need. Pro Player Insiders recently experienced his immense generosity first hand through his foundation.
On November 26th, Campbell and the CRC Foundation became a holiday “Meals on Wheels”. They provided one hundred and fifty homes with a delicious holiday feast.
The fortunate families received a Thanksgiving Day food box filled with the traditional holiday fixings. The day also marked the 10th anniversary of the passing of Calais’s father and he mentioned what better way to honor his memory, by helping others.
Families have been referred to the CRC Foundation as those who would benefit from these donated holiday meals. During his visit to South Point Mountain Elementary School, Campbell handed out meals and also mingled with the kids. Aside from bright smiles, hi-fives and star struck students, Campbell took some additional time to play a competitive round of hang-man…. a memory that I’m sure the students will cherish for years to come.
