Maurice Jones-Drew on a play count

Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew carried 24 times against the Titans on Sunday, but he also lost another 14 to backup RB Deji Karim.  HC Jack Del Rio confirmed afterwards that MJD was on a play count.  “That’s going to happen as we monitor and try to keep him to a certain number of reps as we go throughout this season," Del Rio said.  Jacksonville is playing it smart here as Jones-Drew returns from last year's knee injury.  Expect him to see around 20 touches per game moving forward, with Karim picking up whatever is left over.
