ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer both report that Bears RB Matt Forte has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain. He’s expected to miss anywhere from 2-6 weeks. The shorter end of that timetable would have him back for fantasy championships in Week 16. The longer end would have him out into the NFL playoffs. We’d hang on to Forte if you have the roster space. In the meantime, RB Marion Barber will step in as Chicago’s lead back. He’s looking at 20 touches per game and looks like a low-end RB2 as long as Forte is out.
