Buffalo Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel and receiver Robert Woods have had a solid rookie minicamp and OTA’s so far. Their connection is obvious. This connection was formed prior to the NFL Draft, and the Bills have the New York Jets to thank.
That’s right, the Bills can thank their division rival for the connection their first two draft picks have formed. E.J. Manuel and Robert Woods met each other on a pre draft visit to the Jets and they hit it off from there. Manuel and Woods met each other on previous trips before the visit with the Jets, but New York is where the two really started to gel. Manuel and Woods talked to each other about their college football program on that visit. They both come from winning programs and want to bring the same winning ways to Buffalo.
The chemistry was obvious in rookie minicamp as Woods was Manuel’s favorite target. The two have formed a very strong relationship in the early stages of their NFL careers and if this relationship continues to grow, Bills fans can thank the New York Jets for bringing the two together.
