Kevin Kolb traded to Arizona

It’s official.  The Eagles have traded QB Kevin Kolb to the Cardinals for CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and a 2012 2nd-round draft pick.  The Cards also signed Kolb to a new 5-year, $63 million deal.  It’s a hefty price, but one Arizona had to pay.  We’re still not convinced that Kolb will develop into anything more than an average NFL starter now that he’s not in pass-friendly Philly, but there’s no doubt that he’s a big-time upgrade in the desert.  The news is huge for WR Larry Fitzgerald, who now has a legit QB tossing him the rock again.  We just raised his projections, along with the rest of Arizona’s pass-catchers.
