WR Roy Williams made his Bears training camp debut on Thursday and ran with the 1st-team offense in Johnny Knox’s position. WR Devin Hester lined up opposite Williams in the starting lineup. Knox, meanwhile, spent most of the day with the 2nd-team. HC Lovie Smith later cautioned not to read too much into the lineups so early in training camp. Knox was easily the Bears’ best receiver last year and should have a starting spot locked-down. We’ll continue to keep an eye on this situation, but we’re not adjusting Knox’s projections right now.
